In case you haven’t seen the good news from British Riding Clubs, we have been given the go ahead to resume some Riding Club training activities. The ever changing guidelines makes planning too far ahead difficult, and subject to change at the last minute. With that in mind, we will not be producing a printed card, but all training will be published on the website, facebook page and by email.
We are working with our regular coaches and venues to get some dates in the diary – which will include dressage, show jumping and hopefully some cross country training. And are looking at the options to do training in small groups that still allows us to maintain social distancing and manage the group numbers from multiple households safely.
Each venue and coach have their own COVID19 risk assessments and you will need to take responsibility for reading and following each venue’s guidelines. To help us manage our finances effectively, we will need you to pay promptly and clearly by BACS on the day of the training. If you or any member of your household shows symptoms of COVID19, we ask that you don’t attend training and contact the course organiser ASAP.
Today Hannah Coxon, our brilliant Team Coordinator, was presented with the Jeannie Dodd memorial trophy and award for her outstanding contribution both as our team coordinator and as a volunteer in area 2.
Well done Hannah – we all really appreciate all the time and effort you put into Border Riding Club.
Congratulations to our 70cm Arena Eventing Team who won the Area 2 Qualifier at Richmond Equestrian Centre at the weekend, qualifying for the Championships at Aston Le Walls in March next year. Well done to our team of ladies including: Caitlin Thompson who was also 1st individually, Emma Goldsmith, Tracey Coxon and Kirsty Bryden.
Huge thank you to our Team Coordinator Hannah Coxon.
The polework training with Alastair was so fantastic, we’ve arranged an additional training date for Monday 2 December. We expect this training to book up quickly, if you would like to take park, please contact Ailsa.
